Keenen Peck Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all opinion writers or desk editors. It is intended to reflect Keenen's passion for journalism and politics by encouraging students with plans in those fields to pursue them.
This scholarship was established by Keenen's cohort at the Cardinal and seeded with the generosity of the Kohl Foundation.
The winner will have $250 deducted from their tuition each semester while working at the Cardinal.
James J. Forsmo Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all photographers, staff artists, web designers and photo or graphics editors. It is intended to provide continuity and leadership while emphasizing the importance of visual elements of the Cardinal.
This scholarship was established by Sharon Forsmo, Cardinal graphic artist, in memory of her husband James J. Forsmo, a former Cardinal graphics editor.
The winner will have $250 deducted from their tuition each semester while working at the Cardinal.
Winner's Circle Scholarship
This scholarship is open to Cardinal editors or managers who return to work as an editor or manager for a second academic year. It is intended to allow experienced editors and managers to remain at the Cardinal as editors or managers to pass on their knowledge to others.
This scholarship was established in 2004 by Marilyn Johnson Shuman, the Cardinal's first female managing editor.
